Bengaluru, March 29: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) kicked off IPL 2026 with a spectacular victory. In a match held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday, RCB defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by six wickets. Virat Kohli was the star of the match, scoring an impressive 69 runs. After the game, he showcased a romantic side by blowing a ‘flying kiss’ to his wife, Anushka Sharma.
Kohli faced 38 balls, remaining unbeaten with a strike rate of 181, hitting five fours and five sixes. Following the win, he was seen greeting and hugging players from the opposing team. IPL debutant Jacob Duffy took three wickets for 22 runs, while Romario Shepherd also claimed three wickets.
