Should both scenarios favor KKR, the match on May 23 between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will become crucial for KKR. If LSG defeats PBKS, KKR will secure their playoff ticket.
In their recent match at Eden Gardens, KKR triumphed over Mumbai Indians (MI) by four wickets. KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to field first. The KKR bowlers delivered an impressive performance, restricting MI to just 147 runs after losing eight wickets in 20 overs.
