Pune, April 6 : Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have won the toss and elected to bowl against Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match here at MCA Stadium on Wednesday. KKR have made a couple of changes in their playing XI, with Pat Cummins coming in place of Tim Southee and debutant Rasikh Salam replacing Shivam Mavi. Meanwhile, Surykumar Yadav replaces Anmolpreet Singh and IPL debutant Dewald Brevis aka ‘Baby AB’ comes in for Tim David in MI’s line-up. After winning the toss, KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer said: “We are comfortable chasing with a set target in mind. All the teams are equally good and we always have to take that winning mindset and try and back our abilities. Southee was very supportive and we had a good conversation about the team changes.” MI captain Rohit Sharma said: “We were looking to bat first. We are not looking at what happened in the last two games, we have to play good cricket to win games and that is what we have prepared for. Looks like a good pitch. We have done well in patches and when you want to win games you got to perform collectively and I think that is something that was missing in the last two games.” Playing XIs: KKR: Ajinkya Rahane, Venkatesh Iyer, Shreyas Iyer (c), Sam Billings (wk), Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, S l Narine, Pat Cummins, Umesh Yadav, Rasikh Salam, Varun Chakaravarthy.
