Kirloskar Industries gains despite reporting 24% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Kirloskar Industries is currently trading at Rs. 6170.55, up by 10.20 points or 0.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 6160.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 6249.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 6253.20 and Rs. 6065.75 respectively. So far 1375 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 6697.95 on 17-May-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2461.00 on 31-May-2023.

Kirloskar Industries has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2024.

The company has reported 12.08% fall in its net profit at Rs 21.97 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 24.99 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 2.08% at Rs 40.65 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 39.82 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 24.02% fall in its net profit at Rs 70.73 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 93.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 9.11% at Rs 1,736.44 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 1,591.51 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2024, the company has reported 0.73% rise in its net profit at Rs 74.63 crore as compared to Rs 74.09 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 16.11% at Rs 133.51 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 114.99 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.

For the year ended March 31, 2024, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 21.50% fall in its net profit at Rs 360.72 crore as compared to Rs 459.53 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 1.85% at Rs 6,411.65 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6,532.65 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.
