Keshav Prasad Maurya Promises Response to Disrespect of Women’s Power by 2029

Prayagraj, April 17: Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya launched a strong attack on the Congress and Samajwadi Party during the ‘Nari Shakti Samvad’ event in Prayagraj on Friday. He asserted that the nation’s maternal strength will respond to the disrespect of women’s power in 2027 and 2029, leading to the opposition’s downfall.

Speaking at the district panchayat auditorium, Maurya hailed the ‘Nari Shakti Vandana Act’ as a historic initiative. He emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, significant strides have been made towards women’s empowerment through a 33% reservation. He warned that parties opposing this law would be deprived of the blessings of half the nation’s population.

Maurya criticized the opposition, claiming that Congress and the Samajwadi Party have become “machines for spreading lies.” He accused those who imposed the Emergency and weakened democracy and the Constitution of attempting to preach morality today. In contrast, he stated that the BJP is committed to upholding the Constitution, following the principles of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

Highlighting the strength of Indian women, Maurya noted that they are capable of overcoming challenges and achieving victory. He referenced Rani Lakshmibai as an example, asserting that women know how to respond to injustice.

He took jabs at Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav, warning that anyone attempting to obstruct this law would face political repercussions. He accused the opposition of politicizing the reservation issue against the Constitution, while the BJP adheres to the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.”

During the event, Maurya honored women excelling in various social sectors and distributed gifts to young girls. He reiterated that the respect and empowerment of women are foundational for a developed India. He expressed confidence that, just as decisive struggles have occurred against injustice in history, the public will completely reject parties that engage in anti-women politics in the future.
