
Thiruvananthapuram, May 8: The Centre for Management Development (CMD) has issued an official notification on behalf of the Kerala government’s drug control department, inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates for a total of 40 positions, including Assistant Drug Inspector (ADI).
The CMD has announced 30 vacancies for Assistant Drug Inspectors and 10 for Data Entry Operators (DEO). The online application process commenced on Wednesday at 10:00 AM, with the deadline set for May 21. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on the CMD-Kerala official website by 5:00 PM on the closing date.
Applicants for the Assistant Drug Inspector position must hold a degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution or university. For the Data Entry Operator role, candidates need a degree in any discipline along with a postgraduate diploma or diploma in Computer Applications from a government-recognized institution. Additionally, candidates must possess relevant experience and meet the specified eligibility criteria for both positions.
The maximum age limit for candidates applying for the Assistant Drug Inspector role is 30 years, while for the Data Entry Operator position, it is 40 years, calculated as of May 1.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application screening, shortlisting, examinations/skill tests/interviews, and the final merit list. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹24,000 to ₹30,000.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the CMD-Kerala official website. After reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size. Finally, review the registration form and submit it. It is advisable to keep a hard copy of the application form for future reference.
