KEC International Reports 28% Drop in Q4 Profit Amid Declining Revenue

Mumbai, May 17: KEC International, an infrastructure EPC company under the RPG Group, has released its fourth-quarter results, revealing a significant 28% decrease in profit year-on-year. The company’s revenue has also shown weakness.

In an exchange filing, KEC International reported a profit of ₹193 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26, down from ₹268 crore in the same quarter of FY25.

During the March quarter, the company’s operational revenue stood at ₹6,390 crore, reflecting a 7% decline from ₹6,872 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

EBITDA for the quarter fell by 16.7%, dropping to ₹448.4 crore from ₹538.3 crore in the same period last year. The EBITDA margin decreased to 7% from 7.8% a year earlier.

Despite the weak annual performance in the March quarter, the company showed some sequential improvement compared to Q3 FY26. In the December quarter, KEC International reported a consolidated net profit of ₹127.5 crore, slightly lower than ₹129.6 crore in the same period last year.

During Q3 FY26, EBITDA increased by 15% year-on-year to ₹430.3 crore, with a slight improvement in the EBITDA margin from 7% to 7.1%.

Before the results announcement, KEC International’s shares closed down over 1%. Over the past six months, the stock has fallen by more than 30% and recently hit a 52-week low. Currently, shares are trading at approximately ₹548.80, significantly below its 52-week high of ₹947.00.
