Hyderabad, Mar 4 : In his efforts to form an anti-BJP front before the 2024 general elections, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao held talks with his Jharkhand counterpart Hemant Soren in Ranchi on Friday. After the talks, KCR told journalists that he discussed with Hemant Soren the prevailing political situation in the country. He also said how the nation could be taken in a right direction adding that in the last seven decades the country did not make proper progress. Rao said that he would soon announce about the proposed alternate forum to fight the BJP . Earlier in the day, Rao handed over cheques of Rs ten lakhs each to the kin of two army soldiers who were martyred in Galwan valley during an encounter with Chinese troops. It may be mentioned that KCR had already met, in his bid to forge anti-BJP forum, his Maharashtra counterpart Uddhav Thackeray and Nationalist Congress Party supremo Sharad Pawar recently He could not meet, during his three-day stay in the national capital, Delhi CM Arivind Kejriwal as the latter is in Bengaluru.
