Karan Johar Experiences FOMO Over Dhruvandar 2: The Revenge Success

Mumbai, March 22: Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhruvandar 2: The Revenge’ is dominating both the box office and the hearts of audiences. The film is breaking records previously set by Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’ in terms of collections.

Prominent figures in Bollywood are praising the film, but renowned director and producer Karan Johar is feeling the fear of missing out (FOMO).

Currently busy shooting for a new project, Johar finds himself in a location far from any cinemas. As a result, he is unable to watch ‘Dhruvandar 2: The Revenge’ and is experiencing FOMO. He expressed his feelings on social media, stating, “I am shooting in a place without cinema facilities, and I am feeling FOMO.”

He further added, “I am eagerly waiting to see Dhruvandar. I am proud of all my colleagues in the film industry who are supporting and enjoying this film. It’s heartwarming to see such united love for an Indian film.”

Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, ‘Dhruvandar: The Revenge’ has emerged as one of the biggest box office hits in recent Indian cinema. The film is receiving a positive response across all languages and is consistently selling out shows. It has performed exceptionally well in the Hindi belt, with a net collection of ₹339.27 crores.

According to figures released by Sacnilk, the film has achieved a global total of ₹499 crores.

However, alongside the accolades, the film is also facing criticism. Controversies have arisen regarding characters inspired by figures like Atiq Ahmed and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Nonetheless, many have praised the director’s creativity.
