Ahmedabad, May 13: In a thrilling IPL 2026 match on Tuesday, Gujarat Titans (GT) secured the top spot in the standings by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Fast bowler Kagiso Rabada played a pivotal role in GT’s victory. Former Indian wicketkeeper Saba Karim praised Rabada, stating that he has become the leader of Gujarat’s fast bowling attack.
Speaking on Jio Hotstar, Karim noted, “Rabada is in excellent form and has emerged as the leader of GT’s fast bowling. He utilized his strength brilliantly against SRH, generating extra bounce from the pitch. He looked impressive throughout his spell. The way he strategized for the wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan was remarkable. Overall, he sets the tone for the other bowlers and leads the bowling plans. The other bowlers follow his lead.”
