Srinagar, May 1: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of five lecturer positions across various departments, catering to individuals in the education sector.

The vacancies include:
– Lecturer-I (Engineering), Electrical Engineering: 2 positions
– Lecturer-I (Engineering), Electronics and Communication: 1 position
– Lecturer-II (Non-Engineering), Food Technology: 1 position
– Lecturer-I, Civil Engineering: 1 position

The online application process commenced on Friday, with the deadline set for May 31. Eligible candidates wishing to apply can submit their registration forms on the official website before or by the specified deadline. A correction window will be available from June 1 to June 3 for applicants who may make errors while filling out their forms.

Candidates must possess a relevant graduation degree from a recognized institution or university, with a minimum of 55% marks. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria and skills.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 40 years, calculated as of January 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a written examination, shortlisting, and document verification, with salaries determined according to JKPSC rules.

When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the required application fee online, which is set at ₹1,200 for unreserved candidates and ₹700 for those from reserved categories. Disabled candidates are exempt from the registration fee.

To apply online, candidates should first visit the official JKPSC website. After accessing the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size. After paying the registration fee, submit the form. Lastly, ensure to print a copy of the application form for future reference.
