- Extensiveall round efforts to reduceenergy consumptionhas led to 9 GJ/ton of finished tyre in 2022 – the lowest in India and among the lowest 3 in the world.
- Achieved 53% of energy through renewable sources and targets to cross 75% in next 5 years.
- Globally lowest WATER consumption in tyre industry with less than 2 KL/ton consumption. Already a Zero discharge company.

The company believes in producing more with less, which is the foundation of environmental responsibility and is working on reducing energy intensity, greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, it is also extensively evaluating new greener, thus, sustainable materials and processes. JK Tyre environment stewardship is driven by goals of zero waste to landfill, single use plastic and zero effluent discharge as well as reduced water use.
