
Jaipur, 5 December (Daily Kiran) – The enforcement team of the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) demolished four illegal colonies established on nine bighas of land on Friday. In addition, strict sealing action was taken against unauthorized constructions on the third and fourth floors behind Tilak Hospital on Agra Road, Chanakya Puri in Zone-10.
Deputy Inspector General of Police Rahul Kotoki stated that notices under Sections 32 and 33 of the JDA Act were issued to the builder for unauthorized construction on the third and fourth floors at plots 20, 21, and 22 in Chanakya Puri, Zone-10, behind Tilak Hospital on Agra Road. After the builder failed to remove the construction, the enforcement team, assisted by the engineering department, sealed the entrances and staircases by building brick walls and locking the gates, following proper legal procedures.
Meanwhile, in Zone-10, illegal colonies named “Bajrang Vihar” on about one bigha of private land in Luniawas’s Banyawali Dhani, “Shreeji Vihar” on around four bighas of private land in village Bagarana, “Shiv Vihar” on approximately two bighas of private land also in Bagarana, and another colony in village Sumel were demolished. The team removed illegal constructions including earthen-gravel roads, boundary walls, and other structures.
In Zone-11, encroachments were removed by demolishing walls and gates built along the 200-foot sector road boundary of Ring Road near village Nevta Khatwada Mahindra SEZ.
