JBL Unveils Eye-Catching Soundgear Clips in Emerald Green Finish

Shanghai, May 25: JBL has introduced its open-ear Soundgear Clips earbuds, initially launched last August, featuring a design that truly stands out. The earbuds and their charging case boast a striking, translucent finish, available in vibrant colors such as Copper Ghost, Black Ghost, White Ghost, Blue Ghost, and Purple Ghost.

Now, JBL has added a new Emerald Green Special Edition in China, which may be the most visually appealing version yet. This edition features a translucent green shell with a darker inner tint, complemented by a green neck and luxurious gold accents, giving the earbuds a premium look.

Specifications of JBL Soundgear Clips

The clip-on design of the Clips allows them to sit comfortably alongside earrings or sunglasses. They utilize JBL’s OpenSound technology, which employs air-conduction audio. Instead of sealing the ear canal, the SonicArc-shaped design positions the drivers outside the ear, alleviating pressure during extended listening sessions. JBL claims this design minimizes sound leakage while enhancing bass response through its Bass Boost algorithm.

For calls, the Soundgear Clips are equipped with four microphones and AI-powered call processing, ensuring clearer voice quality even in noisy settings. Additionally, the earbuds are rated IP54 for dust and water resistance.

Users can enjoy up to 32 hours of total playback time with the charging case. The earbuds themselves provide up to 8 hours of use, and a quick 10-minute charge offers an extra 3 hours of listening time.

The new JBL Soundgear Clips Emerald Green Special Edition is currently available in China for ¥999 (approximately $147 or €127). As of now, JBL has not announced whether this color will be released globally. However, the other color options can be purchased through the official site for $149 or €129.
