Mumbai, May 7: Rising star and social media influencer Jannat Zubair Rahmani has made her debut in the OTT world with the web series “Glory.” In this series, she portrays the character Gudiya, the sister of actors Pulkit Samrat and Divyendu Sharma.
Jannat, already a well-known name in the television industry, has been on the lookout for projects that would showcase her acting skills in a new light. She expressed that she had been searching for a role like Gudiya for quite some time.
On Thursday, Jannat shared behind-the-scenes photos from the series on Instagram. Alongside the images, she wrote, “I waited for years for a role that truly felt like mine, and Gudiya came to me at the right time. This was my first Netflix and OTT project, so I was learning something new every day.”
She mentioned that during the shooting, she felt deeply connected to each scene and gave her all. Expressing her joy over the love the series and Gudiya are receiving, she added, “The affection for the show and Gudiya is very special to me. Thank you all for watching and connecting.”
Jannat also extended her gratitude to the director, stating, “Our director provided a safe and comfortable environment on set, making it easier to perform.”
She thanked her co-stars Pulkit Samrat and Divyendu Sharma, saying, “Thank you for your warmth, care, and for making everything comfortable.”
In a light-hearted tone, she specifically thanked Pulkit for ensuring the best food was ordered on set, saying, “Thank you for ordering the best food and making sure everyone enjoyed it.”
Jannat expressed her appreciation for the entire team and Netflix, stating that she couldn’t have asked for a better team. She concluded with a heartfelt note, “Gudiya will always be with me.”
