
Jammu, May 21: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Rajouri-Poonch range, Sandeep Wazeer, chaired a high-level meeting on Thursday to evaluate security, cyber crime, and modern policing strategies.
According to police reports, a comprehensive DGP-IGP conference was held at the Poonch District Police Office under Wazeer’s leadership.
The meeting saw participation from Poonch’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shafqat Hussain, the additional Superintendent of Police (Operations), supervisory officers, station house officers, and other officials from across the district.
This conference served as a crucial platform to review the current security landscape and discuss various operational, investigative, and administrative aspects of policing.
Officials delivered detailed presentations and lectures on various professional topics via PowerPoint, highlighting contemporary challenges in policing and best practices.
