
Jaipur, February 13: The Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police has issued a notice against Anil Kumar Maheshwari, a resident of Jaipur, Rajasthan, in connection with an alleged financial fraud case involving millions of rupees. Officials report that the suspect has been evading capture by frequently changing his location.
According to the Kashmir Crime Branch, Anil Kumar Maheshwari, son of Ganpatlal, resides in the Jhotwara area of Jaipur and faces serious charges of fraud and criminal conspiracy.
Investigators allege that he engaged in systematic financial irregularities, causing significant losses to the victims.
Police officials stated that Maheshwari previously worked as a regional sales manager at Assured Agro Food Industries in Uttarakhand.
Authorities suspect that he exploited his position and corporate connections to conduct fraudulent activities across several states, including Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.
According to police details, the suspect is approximately five feet five inches tall with black hair.
He is currently missing from his registered address in the Saty Nagar area of Jaipur.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have appealed to the public for any information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts.
Officials have assured that the identities of those providing information will be kept completely confidential.
Efforts to apprehend and arrest the suspect are ongoing.
