Hamirpur (HP), March 5 : on Minister of state for Jal Shakti, Prahlad Singh Patel Saturday patted the Himachal Pradesh for achieving ninety-three percent of its target under the Har ghar ko nal (tap in each house) scheme of the central government and said he was hopeful that the state would achieve this target by next year two years ahead of the fixed target of year (2024). While talking to reporters at the residence of former Chief Minister, PK Dhumal at his Samirpur residence Saturday, he said credit for this scheme went to Dhumal ji under whose tenure tap water had reached in every village of the state. He said Gujarat was another state where ninety-six percent target under the Har ghar ko nal (tap in each house) scheme had been achieved. Patel said in the central budget a sum of sixty thousand crore rupees had been given under the jal jiwan mission and this money was not in shape of any grant. Who soeever will require money to complete the mission would get the grant of their demand, the minister added. Replying to a question, he said the BJP was going to win elections in five states of India and credit for this went to powerful leadership of the party under Narendra Modi. He said in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi had given a strong and honest government and he was sure to manage the election show there by getting full mandate. Dhumal said on occasion the Modi government is doing a great job in the country. The country has emerged as a big power on the world stage and due to the schemes of the Center, the wheel of development was running ahead in every state at a fast pace and the common man is becoming happy. The major reason for the success of the Modi government was his excellent team present in the cabinet with him and as an important role of the same team, on Minister of State for Jal Shakti, Prahlad Singh Patel is playing his responsibility.
