Jaipur to Host First International MSME Day with Major Announcements by CM Bhajanlal Sharma

Jaipur, June 26: Jaipur will celebrate its first International MSME Day on Saturday at the Constitution Club. This state-level event aims to strengthen the ecosystem for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the region, as announced by government officials on Friday.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will inaugurate the program and unveil several initiatives aimed at bolstering the MSME sector. He will also launch an industrial development policy during this event.

Throughout the program, the Chief Minister will distribute dummy checks worth over ₹13 crore to beneficiaries under various schemes from the Department of Industry and Commerce. Eligible entrepreneurs will receive land allotment letters and offer letters from the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO).

Additionally, CM Sharma will introduce the Rajasthan Industrial Development Policy and unveil the ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) coffee table book. He will also dedicate the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) portal, designed to promote ease of doing business and enhance MSME support services.

Financial assistance will be provided to beneficiaries under several key schemes, including the ODOP policy, the Vishwakarma Youth Entrepreneur Incentive Scheme, the Rajasthan Trade Promotion Policy, the Chief Minister’s Youth Self-Employment Scheme, the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme, the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Dalit-Tribal Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme, the Integrated Cluster Development Scheme, RAMP, and the Rajasthan Export Promotion Scheme.

The event will be attended by Rajasthan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, State Minister K.K. Bishnoi, Chief Secretary V. Srinivasan, Additional Chief Secretary (Industry and Commerce) Shikhar Agarwal, Industry Commissioner Neelabh Saxena, senior government officials, industry representatives, and entrepreneurs.

International MSME Day is celebrated annually on June 27 to recognize the crucial role of MSMEs in global economic development, employment, and sustainable growth. The United Nations designated this day to highlight their significant contributions.
