Mumbai, April 7: Bollywood star Jeetendra Kapoor may have stepped back from films, but he remains a beloved figure in the limelight. Today, he celebrates his birthday.
On this special occasion, actor Jackie Shroff extended his warm wishes. He shared an old video on his Instagram Stories, featuring him taking Jeetendra to the stage, with Ekta Kapoor also seen in the clip.
Jackie captioned the video, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to Jeetendra.”
Throughout his career, Jeetendra has delivered many memorable performances. His unique dancing style and energy continue to inspire young actors. He starred in numerous hit films, including ‘Humjoli,’ ‘Parichay,’ and ‘Khudgarz,’ with songs from these movies still resonating with audiences today.

In the 1994 action movie ‘Choraha,’ Jackie Shroff played the lead role of Amar, a young man fighting against injustice while wrongfully imprisoned. Jeetendra portrayed Inspector Kailash Mathur, a tough police officer who eventually supports Amar’s cause.
Directed by Sadakat Hussain, the film featured a stellar cast, including Jaya Prada, Ashwini Bhave, Shakti Kapoor, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, and Danny Denzongpa. The story revolves around an innocent 12-year-old orphan, Amar (Jackie Shroff), who is falsely accused of murder. Years later, he returns to his old neighborhood, finding everything changed, and decides to restore peace in the crime-ridden area. The film’s music was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
