Jackie Shroff Visits Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh, Receives Blessings from Swami Chidanand Saraswati

Mumbai, May 19: Renowned actor Jackie Shroff recently visited the famous Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh. During his visit, he met with the ashram’s head and spiritual leader, Swami Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj, and shared some memorable moments with him.

Jackie posted a video on Instagram capturing the essence of their meeting. In the video, Swami Chidanand lovingly applies a tilak on Jackie’s forehead. Following this, Jackie humbly bowed down to touch the guru’s feet and received his blessings.

At the end of the video, the two engage in conversation and embrace each other. Jackie captioned the post, “Memorable moments with revered Swamiji.”

Swami Chidanand Saraswati is one of India’s most esteemed spiritual leaders. He is the spiritual head of the Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh and also the founder and spiritual leader of the Hindu Jain Temple in Pittsburgh.

At 69, Jackie Shroff has been a prominent figure in the film industry for over four decades, showcasing his acting talent in more than 250 films. He made his mark as a leading actor in Bollywood with the release of the film ‘Hero’ in 1983.

Jackie Shroff will soon appear in the comedy-drama film ‘Welcome to the Jungle.’ This film features an ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani, Mika Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Krishna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Tusshar Kapoor, and Sayaji Shinde.

Directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala, this film is the third installment in the popular ‘Welcome’ franchise. It is set to release in theaters on June 26, 2026.
