ISTD Udaipur Chapter Members Visit Secure Meters Limited for Industrial Exposure

Udaipur, 25 August (Kiran News). Members of the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), Udaipur Chapter, conducted an industrial visit to Secure Meters Limited, Kaladwas. The visit was coordinated by Shafique Ahmed and Kapil Sharma, both ISTD members. Kapil Sharma welcomed the group, and Shafique Ahmed provided detailed information about Secure Meters’ operations.

Plant Head Vijay Horane briefed the visitors about plant operations, world-class technology and automation, production capacity, and the company’s development history. HR Head Subrata Ghosh (Senior ISTD member and Diploma T&D holder) shared insights on the healthy work culture, cleanliness, training, employee recruitment process, and the impressive fact that 65% of local employees are women. All members were greatly impressed by the quality of Secure Meters’ products, work culture, workplace hygiene, and the high women power ratio in the industry.

It was also a pleasant surprise for the members to learn that Secure Meters exports its electronic meters to about 55 countries and has manufacturing units established overseas as well.

ISTD Chairman Vidyavinod Nandawat shared information about the society’s activities and objectives. Honorary Secretary Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore expressed gratitude to the industry for this memorable visit. ISTD members P.S. Solanki, R.K. Singhvi, K.S. Sardalia, K.R. Saraswat, V. Narendra, N.L. Jain, Ashok Saraswat, and Tahir Lukawala attended the visit. Members from the Computer Society of India, Udaipur branch, including Dr. M.S. Devda and Dr. Bharat Singh Devda, were also present.
