New Delhi, May 17: The Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 match on Sunday between SC Delhi and Inter Kashi ended in a 0-0 draw. The game took place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, where Inter Kashi displayed a more aggressive attack. Despite having better scoring opportunities, they failed to find the back of the net. Inter Kashi now sits ninth in the standings with 13 points from 12 matches, while SC Delhi is in eleventh place with 11 points from the same number of games.
SC Delhi’s goalkeeper, Nora Fernandes, was named ‘Player of the Match’ after making six crucial saves.
Inter Kashi started the match with an aggressive approach. Rohit Danu fired a powerful long-range shot, which was expertly saved by Nora Fernandes. Winger Mohammad Asif and striker Seiminlen Doungel also came close to scoring.
However, SC Delhi’s defense held firm. Clarence Fernandes and captain Ashutosh Mehta formed a solid defensive wall. Although the home team had more possession for a while, they struggled to create clear scoring chances near the opponent’s goal.
Just before halftime, the visiting team came close to scoring. A brilliant corner kick from the right found Narendra Gehlot completely unmarked on the far post, but as a center-back, he failed to connect properly with the ball from such close range. In injury time, Planas took another powerful shot, which was again brilliantly saved by Fernandes. Thus, both teams went into halftime with a score of 0-0.
In the second half, SC Delhi returned to the field with more energy and aggression. They made three substitutions right at the start, but Inter Kashi gradually regained control of the game, consistently posing threats with set pieces and long-range shots. Sergio Llamas created a fantastic move from midfield, setting up another shot opportunity for Planas, which Fernandes managed to stop.
In the 79th minute, substitute Prashant delivered a superb ball into the box, but Nauris Petkevicius failed to direct it towards the goal. On the other side, Abdul-Halik Hoodoo and Augustin played well together, but the home team couldn’t find the final touch.
In the dying moments of the game, Inter Kashi made a late push for victory but fell short. In stoppage time, Sergio Llamas had the last chance to score, but his shot went over the goal. Ultimately, neither team managed to take the lead, and the match concluded with both teams earning a point.
