Ishaan Khatter wraps up ‘Pippa’

Mumbai, April 11 : Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter on Monday wrapped up his upcoming film titled ‘Pippa’. Taking to Instagram, the ‘Dhadak’ actor posted some behind the scene photos of the shoot. He captioned the post: “Filled with gratitude for the experience of this film. It’s been a dream to work with a team as excellent as this one. Humbled and brimming with love. This is your Captain Balram Singh Mehta signing off from Pippa. See you in the cinemas soon.” The film also features Priyanshu Painyuli, Mrunal Thakur, Soni Razdan. It has been written and directed by Raja Menon, who is known for movies like ‘Airlift’ and ‘Chef’, along with Tanmay Mohan and Ravinder Randhawa. The story is based on the book ‘The Burning Chaffees’ written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s produced film is about Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, who served as the captain of the 45th Cavalry Tank Squadron in the Battle of Garibpur against Pakistani Army in 1971 on the eastern front along with his siblings. Mrunal and Priyanshu will be portraying the role of Ishaan’s siblings whereas Soni will be playing the role of their mother. The film is set to hit the theatres on December 9. SRO RNJ
