
Jaipur, April 26: In the IPL, 15-year-old left-handed opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who plays for the Rajasthan Royals, has yet to make his international debut. Australian captain Pat Cummins, who is leading Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL, is now a fan of Suryavanshi.
On Saturday, the IPL 2026 match took place in Jaipur between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). SRH won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Suryavanshi opened the innings for RR and scored a century off just 36 balls. He hit 12 sixes and 5 fours, finishing with a remarkable 103 runs in 37 balls. Thanks to his innings, RR managed to post a total of 228 runs. However, SRH chased down the target, scoring 229 runs for the loss of 5 wickets, winning the match with 9 balls to spare.
Despite the loss, Suryavanshi’s explosive performance made him a fan of SRH captain Pat Cummins.
