Lucknow, May 7: In the 50th match of IPL 2026, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) faced off against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. The match, affected by rain, saw LSG score 209 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in just 19 overs after opting to bat first.

LSG started strong after losing the toss. The opening pair of Mitchell Marsh and Arshin Kulkarni put together a remarkable 95 runs for the first wicket off just 56 balls. While Arshin held one end, Marsh showcased explosive batting, reaching his half-century in just 20 balls. However, the match was interrupted by heavy rain in the ninth over. Once play resumed, Arshin was dismissed for 17 runs off 24 balls.

Following Arshin’s departure, Marsh found another solid partner in Nicholas Pooran. Marsh continued his impressive form, completing his century in 49 balls. Unfortunately, rain disrupted the match again after the 14th over, leading to a reduction in overs to 19 each side.
