He was found guilty of breaching the IPL Code of Conduct and received a demerit point, along with a warning against future incidents.
Jamieson violated Article 2.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which pertains to language, actions, or gestures that could disrespect another player or provoke aggressive reactions.
According to a statement from the IPL, the incident occurred in the second over of the first innings. After dismissing Suryavanshi, Jamieson approached him aggressively, which could have led to an aggressive response from the batsman.
Suryavanshi, who had hit Jamieson for a boundary on the first ball, was bowled on the next delivery. Following this, Jamieson approached him and celebrated loudly, clapping in front of the 15-year-old player.
