IndiGo soars on commencing operations of first freighter aircraft between Delhi and Mumbai

IndiGo is currently trading at Rs. 1770.55, up by 6.30 points or 0.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 1764.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1771.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1771.05 and Rs. 1757.55 respectively. So far 781 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2370.00 on 17-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1513.30 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1813.10 and Rs. 1696.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 67875.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.90% and 2.18% respectively.

InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo) has commenced operations of its first A321 Freighter aircraft between Delhi and Mumbai, effective November 15, 2022. The aircraft converted from passenger jet to a full freighter configuration will be used for general freight on the inaugural Delhi- Mumbai flight, while carrying general and e-commerce CarGo on the return leg. These inaugural flights will carry a payload of more than 20 tons on each leg.

IndiGo welcomed it’s first 321F last month after which it got all registration done. Progressively this aircraft, and the next aircraft which is expected to arrive later this year, will be deployed on international routes too.
