Indian Religious Leaders Demand Apology from Israeli Guru Over Cow Comments

Indian religious leaders criticize an Israeli gurus remarks on cows, demanding an apology or action from Israels Prime Minister.

Ayodhya, October 31 (Daily Kiran) : Jagadguru Paramahans Acharya Maharaj, the head of the Tapasvi Chhaavani Peeth in Ayodhya, has strongly condemned remarks made by an Israeli religious leader regarding cows. He stated that such comments reflect a lack of understanding and connection to the cultural roots of Israel. The Maharaj emphasized the recent bravery of Indian pilots who risked their lives to save Israeli citizens during turbulent times.

Mahant Sitaram Das Maharaj echoed these sentiments, describing the Israeli guru’s comments as ignorant and foolish. He suggested that the guru should consider consuming cow urine, which he claims has health benefits and can cleanse negative thoughts. He asserted that cow products, including milk and dung, are sacred, contrasting them with what he termed “poisonous” attitudes of those who mock them.

The Mahant recalled how the Indian community had stood in solidarity with Israel during crises, asserting that the Israeli guru’s statements reflect a mindset antagonistic to Indian culture. He criticized the guru for perpetuating hate and misunderstanding.

Mahamandaleshwar Vishnu Das Maharaj added that the disrespect shown towards the cow is unacceptable and indicative of a broader disregard for religious values. He highlighted the medicinal properties of cow dung and urine, reaffirming their sacred status in Indian tradition.

Jagadguru Paramahans Acharya Maharaj reiterated the need for accountability, calling on the Israeli Prime Minister to demand an apology or take action against the offending religious leader. He emphasized the timelessness of Indian culture, which promotes global peace and unity, stating, “India has always been, and will continue to be, a guiding light for the world.”

In closing, Mahant Yogananad Giri Maharaj condemned the Israeli guru’s remarks as shameful, underscoring that the reverence for cows is deeply rooted in ancient traditions that predate the guru’s ancestry. He affirmed that such disrespect towards the sacred cow cannot be tolerated.
