Indian Defence Minister to Inaugurate Naval Valor Park in Lucknow

New Delhi, May 30: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the ‘Naval Valor Park’ in Lucknow on Saturday. The event will take place near the Ekana Stadium, showcasing India’s naval heritage and modern maritime strength.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, CM Yogi stated that the grand ‘Naval Valor Park’ in Lucknow will be dedicated to the nation by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Spanning two acres, this complex symbolizes the indomitable courage and modern capabilities of our navy. A heartfelt tribute to the bravery of our valiant sailors from Uttar Pradesh. Jai Hind!

According to official information, Defence Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh will attend the inauguration ceremony in his constituency on May 30. Following his arrival at Lucknow Airport, the event at Naval Valor Park is scheduled between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM.

During this visit, Rajnath Singh will also review the Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway, which is expected to significantly reduce travel time between the two cities to approximately 45-50 minutes. It is anticipated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the expressway to the nation after June 15.

The Naval Valor Park has been developed as an open-air naval museum in collaboration with the Indian Navy and the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department.

Officials stated that the facility aims to provide visitors with a deeper understanding of India’s maritime heritage through decommissioned naval assets, interpretive displays, and interactive exhibitions. These are designed to raise awareness about the navy’s role in national security and maritime operations.

The inauguration of the Naval Valor Park is expected to highlight India’s naval achievements and showcase significant infrastructure development projects undertaken in Uttar Pradesh by both state and central governments.
