
New Delhi, May 13: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for youth eager to serve the nation. The Indian Army is inviting applications from unmarried male engineering graduates for the 144th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-144), which will commence in January 2027. A total of 30 positions are available.
Among the 30 positions, there are 8 for Civil Engineering, 6 for Computer Science, 2 for Electrical Engineering, 6 for Electronics, 6 for Mechanical Engineering, and 2 for various engineering streams. The online application process began on Wednesday, and the last date to apply is set for June 11. Eligible candidates wishing to fill out the application form can register on the official website before or by the deadline.
Applicants must possess a BE/BTech/MS in Computer Science or any recognized engineering stream from a reputable institution or university. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria and skills.
The minimum age for applicants is 20 years, while the maximum age is 27 years, calculated as of January 1, 2027. Eligible candidates will be selected based on application shortlisting, SSB, medical tests, and merit lists. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹56,400 per month during the 12-month training period. Upon commissioning, the salary will range from ₹17 to ₹18 lakh per annum, along with additional benefits and allowances.
