India to Showcase Deep Tech Exhibition in France Next Month with PM Modis Presence: Dharmendra Pradhan

New Delhi, May 5: The IIT Madras Tech Summit was inaugurated at the Bharat Mandapam in the national capital, attended by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State Jayant Chaudhary. The event focused on India’s growing role in technology, research, and innovation.

During his address, Dharmendra Pradhan praised IIT Madras for its commitment as a responsible educational institution. He noted that after receiving the ‘Institute of Eminence’ status, IIT Madras has taken its responsibilities seriously. The institution has established several ‘Centers of Excellence’ that are steering research and innovation in new directions across the country.

Pradhan emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the central government is dedicated to creating a robust ecosystem for research. He described this initiative as a significant step towards “Nation Building,” highlighting that IIT Madras is effectively utilizing its resources to explore new research areas, particularly in innovation.

The Union Minister announced, “Next month, India will host a major exhibition on ‘Deep Technology’ in Nice, France. Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron will be present at the inauguration.”

Minister of State Jayant Chaudhary highlighted India’s technological advancements, stating that the country has reached a point where it can easily solve complex problems. India’s performance across various technology indices has been impressive, showcasing the nation’s digital capabilities.

He added that the digital revolution has made technology accessible to every segment of society. Even a 65-year-old woman, who has not completed formal education, is utilizing banking services through the Unified Payments Interface.

Additionally, Chaudhary referenced the recent election results in West Bengal, stating that the mandate received by the Bharatiya Janata Party is a clear indication that the public desires development and progress. He noted that West Bengal is a significant center of economic power in the country, and the people have made decisions with their future in mind.
