Potchefstroom (South Africa), April 11 : After losing the FIH Hockey Women’s J or World Cup semifinal to the Netherlands 0-3, India are now focusing on their bronze medal match against England, which will be played April 12. The match will be the repeat of 2013 j or World Cup, when the Netherlands had beaten India 3-0 in the semifinal. Then, Sushila Chanu-led Indian side faced-off against England in the bronze medal match, which they won in a shootout. Speaking about semifinal loss skipper Salima Tete said: “We are quite disappointed from our match against Netherlands. We created so many chances but could not convert. It just felt like it wasn’t our day. “There is no point thinking about what’s happened in the past. Now we need to be absolutely focused on the upcoming match against England. Getting off to a good start against them will definitely give us the right momentum and that is what we will be looking for against them. Meanwhile, England has entered the bronze medal match after a 0-8 loss to Germany in the semifinal on Sunday. BAV RNJ
