India Textiles App 2026 Enhances Experience for Buyers and Exhibitors

New Delhi, May 20: The Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles, Neelam Shami Rao, launched the India Textiles 2026 event app on Wednesday. This integrated digital platform is designed to enhance the experience of buyers, international representatives, speakers, sourcing consultants, partners, exhibitors, and visitors at India’s largest global textile event.

The ministry stated that the official India Textiles 2026 app reflects the event’s ‘digital-first’ approach. It will play a crucial role in establishing business connections, improving participant experiences, enabling data-driven engagement, and supporting the extensive scale and ambition of India Textiles 2026.

Developed as a comprehensive digital companion for India Textiles 2026, the app allows registered participants to access event-related information, search for exhibitors, schedule meetings, navigate the venue, capture leads, access knowledge sessions, and receive real-time updates.

A key feature of this app is its AI smart assistant, designed as a 24/7 interactive guide for participants. Users can ask event-related questions in simple language and receive relevant information about the event schedule, directions, and other important aspects. This feature will assist both Indian and international participants through a user-friendly and quick digital interface.

The ministry further mentioned that the app will provide advanced navigation and guidance assistance at Bharat Mandapam. Participants will be able to view floor plans, locate booths, find companies, and receive stall-level directions within the venue.

For global buyers and business visitors, the exhibitor search module will offer organized search and filtering options across various exhibitor categories. Users can search for companies based on name, product category, and exhibitor type, facilitating targeted sourcing and focused business discussions within the textile value chain.

India Textiles 2026, scheduled to take place from July 14-17, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, is expected to attract over 7,000 international buyers and more than 130,000 business visitors from the global textile industry.

The event is organized by the India Textiles Trade Federation, a consortium of 11 textile export promotion councils and industry bodies, in collaboration with the Ministry of Textiles of the central government.
