The ‘EY 2025 Work Reimagined Survey’ highlights that 75 percent of employees and 72 percent of companies feel GenAI helps in making better decisions. Furthermore, 82 percent of employees and 92 percent of companies agree that AI improves the quality of work.

The report states that India ranks among the top nations in AI adoption, with an ‘AI Advantage’ score of 53 compared to the global average of 34. This score reflects the extent to which AI saves employees’ time and simplifies their tasks.

This survey, now in its sixth edition, is based on data collected from 15,000 employees and 1,500 companies across 29 countries globally.

In India, 800 employees and 50 companies participated in the survey, illustrating the rapid growth of AI usage in the country.

India also achieved the highest Talent Health score of 82, indicating strong employee satisfaction regarding work environment, pay, and learning opportunities. The global average Talent Health score stands at 65.

According to the report, 94 percent of companies and 89 percent of employees in India believe AI is used responsibly and appropriately, which has increased trust in AI among people.

However, 87 percent of employees and 90 percent of companies agree that learning new AI skills is essential. Despite this, most employees spend less than 40 hours annually on AI learning.

The report further notes that employees who invest more time in learning AI skills tend to have lower job turnover rates and deliver higher quality work.
