Islamabad, March 30 : Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said he will make public a “letter” containing evidence of a foreign conspiracy against his government later in the day, as it became clear he will have to step down, given a crucial last minute move by a key ally ahead of the Trust Vote in the National Assembly. Khan was likely to step down after his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s ally and the main coalition partner Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM) reached a deal with the opposition Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). “A political crisis is not new for democracies. No confidence vote is a foreign imported crisis,” said the prime minister. “Pakistan is getting controlled on an international call against our national interest. Outsiders are not happy with Pakistan doing well under our government. “This is a conspiracy. I have a document and I will share with senior journalists. I will share this document today with top Pakistan journalists and it will expose the international conspiracy against me,” he added. Imran Khan had waved a similar letter at his party’s show of strength during a mega rally on March 27. Pakistan government on Tuesday said that Khan was ready to share the letter with the Chief Justice of Pakistan. It had added that the letter could not be presented in parliament because of “sensitivity” issues. While addressing his followers on Sunday Khan alleged that foreign funding was being used to unseat his government. He said: “Money is being sent from abroad and people inside the country are being used”. The trust vote was scheduled for April 3 and the debate in the parliament was to start debate from Thursday.
