
Jodhpur, August 5: The Indian Council of Medical Research – National Institute of Health Research (ICMR-NIH) has announced job openings for project human resource positions under the ‘ADOPT’ initiative, aimed at accelerating the dissemination and operational promotion of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in India.
The vacancies include one position for Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical), two for Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical), one Administrative Officer, and one Field Officer.
Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview, written examination, skill test, document verification, and a final merit list. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹30,000 to ₹78,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.
The walk-in interview and written examination will take place on August 24 at the ICMR-NIH, Jodhpur. Candidates are required to report between 9 AM and 10 AM. Registration will also occur on the same day, so applicants should bring a hard copy of their completed application form along with original and photocopies of all relevant documents.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set between 35 to 50 years, depending on the position, calculated as of the date of the walk-in interview. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
For the Project Research Scientist-III (Non-Medical) position, candidates must hold a PhD in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology from a recognized institution, along with five years of research and development or teaching experience. The Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) requires an MSc in Life Sciences/MPH/MHA/MPharm (Master of Pharmacy)/Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) and four years of relevant experience.
The Administrative Officer position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with at least three years of experience in a government department/statutory or autonomous body/university/public sector undertaking, along with proficiency in MS Office applications. For the Field Officer role, candidates should be graduates in Public Health with three years of work experience.
