Humayun Kabir Expresses Desire to Serve Jhalmuri to PM Modi

Murshidabad, May 7: During the campaign for the West Bengal Assembly elections, a video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi enjoying jhalmuri went viral, making this popular Bengali snack a trending topic. Following the historic victory of the BJP in Bengal, party workers celebrated by enjoying jhalmuri at their office.

In this context, Humayun Kabir, the founder of the Unnayan Party, expressed a unique wish. He stated that if given the opportunity, he would personally serve jhalmuri to Prime Minister Modi.

Speaking in Murshidabad, Kabir said, “If I get the chance, I will definitely serve jhalmuri to PM Modi.”

Regarding the upcoming oath-taking ceremony of the new government in Bengal, he noted that the BJP is a significant national party, governing in 20 states. The oath ceremony for the new government is scheduled for May 9, where several chief ministers and PM Modi will be present.

Referring to a meeting called by the TMC, he mentioned that the BJP has not opened its doors to any TMC legislators, former legislators, or leaders for joining their party. “If the BJP had opened its doors, many would have joined,” he added.

Kabir also addressed the issue of violence in Bengal, recalling that many BJP workers were killed and forced from their homes in 2021. He emphasized that the BJP is currently calm, but no party worker should face violence. The police must enforce law and order strictly.

Commenting on the recent shooting of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari’s PA, Kabir stated that such incidents should not occur. The elections have concluded peacefully, and voting was conducted smoothly in two phases. There should be no violence or bloodshed. Immediate action should be taken against those responsible for such incidents.
