Huma Qureshi Reflects on an Eventful April on Social Media

Mumbai, April 26: As April draws to a close, actress Huma Qureshi has shared a glimpse of her month through a recent social media post.

In her official Instagram account, Huma expressed her surprise at how quickly April has flown by. She captioned her post, “This month… has gone by so fast… April isn’t even over yet.”

The first photo in her album features Huma lounging on her bed, followed by a stunning mirror selfie where she looks incredibly attractive.

From relaxing at a café to joyfully sipping coffee on the street and indulging in shopping, April has been packed with activities for Huma.

Her post also showcases a variety of delicious dishes she enjoyed, including a balanced desi thali, vada pav, and burgers.

The actress, known for her role in ‘Jolly LLB 2’, also shared some adorable pictures of her beloved pets.

On the work front, Huma Qureshi is gearing up for the release of the film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’, where she plays the character Elizabeth.

Previously, filmmaker Geetu Mohandas revealed that casting for the role of Elizabeth was challenging, as it required an actor with high potential and a charismatic screen presence—qualities he found in Huma.

In a statement on social media, Mohandas said, “Casting for this role was perhaps the most difficult task. We needed an artist with immense talent and a strong personality. The moment Huma came before me, I realized she possessed some rare qualities.”

He further noted that Huma brought a natural sophistication and intensity that instantly brought Elizabeth’s character to life.

Mohandas added, “Huma is an actress who questions, explores, and challenges the artistic interpretation of any role, making it an integral part of our creative journey. She has always been regarded as a talented individual, but this performance will mark a decisive turning point in cinema, heralding the arrival of an undeniable and impactful new presence.”
