HPCL Recruitment 2026: Applications Open for 116 Positions Including Chief Manager

New Delhi, July 2: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has announced a significant opportunity for job seekers. The company has issued an official notification inviting applications for various positions, totaling 116, aimed at both experienced professionals and fresh graduates.

Among the 116 vacancies, there are 62 positions for experienced professionals and 54 for freshers. The fresher roles include 37 Junior Executive – Chemical and 17 Junior Executive – Fire and Safety positions.

The experienced roles consist of 52 Senior Officer – Sales (Retail/Lubes/Direct Sales/LPG), 5 Assistant Manager – Projects and Manager – Projects, and 1 Chief Manager – Technical Services (Specialty Chemicals) and Deputy General Manager – Technical Services (Specialty Chemicals). Additionally, there are 1 Deputy General Manager – Sales and Marketing (Petrochemicals/Petrochemical Derivatives) and other managerial positions.

The online application process commenced on July 1 and will close on July 20. Eligible candidates wishing to apply must complete their registration on the HPCL official website before 3 PM on the deadline.

Applicants for the Junior Executive (Chemical) position must hold a full-time regular diploma in Chemical Engineering with at least 65% marks from a recognized institution. For the Junior Executive (Fire and Safety) role, candidates should be science graduates with a diploma in Fire and Safety, along with a valid heavy vehicle driving license.

For the Senior Officer – Sales (Retail/Lubes/Direct Sales/LPG) position, candidates need a full-time regular engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Civil Engineering and a full-time regular MBA or PGDM (equivalent to MBA as per AIU) with two years of experience. The Assistant Manager – Projects and Manager – Projects roles require a full-time regular engineering degree in Civil Engineering.

Candidates applying for the Chief Manager – Technical Services (Specialty Chemicals) and Deputy General Manager – Technical Services (Specialty Chemicals) must have a full-time regular engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, with preference given to those holding a full-time regular MBA.

For the Senior Manager – Economist, Chief Manager – Economist, and Deputy General Manager – Economist roles, candidates should possess a full-time regular postgraduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Energy Planning or equivalent, along with specialization in Economics Research/Econometrics and knowledge of energy market conditions.

The Deputy General Manager – Gas Sourcing and Marketing and General Manager – Gas Sourcing and Marketing positions require a full-time regular engineering degree in any discipline and a full-time regular MBA.

Candidates for the Deputy General Manager – Sales and Marketing (Petrochemicals/Petrochemical Derivatives), General Manager – Sales and Marketing (Petrochemicals/Petrochemical Derivatives), and Chief General Manager – Sales and Marketing (Petrochemicals/Petrochemical Derivatives) must have a full-time regular engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, with preference for those with a full-time regular MBA. Additionally, all candidates must have 2 to 24 years of relevant experience.

The maximum age limit for applicants ranges from 25 to 54 years, depending on the position, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection will be based on application shortlisting, computer-based tests/written exams, group tasks, psychometric assessments, skill tests, personal/technical interviews, physical fitness efficiency tests (PFET), and pre-employment medical examinations. Selected candidates can expect salaries ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹1,20,000 for fresher roles and ₹60,000 to ₹2,80,000 for experienced positions, along with additional benefits.

Applicants must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹1,180 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. Candidates from SC/ST/PWD categories are eligible for fee concessions.
