Hamirpur (HP), April 11 : on Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs, and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur on Sunday inaugurated Gau Sadan, constructed at a cost of about Rs 50 lakh, near the Gasota Mahadev Temple, it was reported on Monday. Thakur said on occasion that 200 animals can be kept in this Gau Sadan, which has been prepared in just 4 months time. He said that the State Government has done a commendable job for a permanent solution to the problem of destitute animals. For this, the state government and especially Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Animal, and Fisheries Minister Virendra Kanwar deserved congratulations for the exemplary work done by his ministry. Anurag Singh Thakur said that Gau Sanctuary has been established in village Khairi of Sujanpur assembly constituency, in which an open environment and roof have been provided to hundreds of destitute animals. Thakur said that various development works and projects are also being completed expeditiously in the Hamirpur assembly constituency. He said that for the all-around development of rural areas, the Central and State Governments are working with a positive and long-term vision. Under this, all-around development of every village is being ensured.
