Mumbai, March 31: Renowned Hollywood director Zack Snyder has showered praise on actress Huma Qureshi. He described her as one of the finest talents in the film “Army of the Dead.”
On Tuesday, Snyder shared a photo of Qureshi on Instagram, stating, “Huma Qureshi is one of the best actresses I had the opportunity to work with in ‘Army of the Dead.’ Her talent, screen presence, and incredible shine were remarkable.”
The entertainment industry has reacted positively to Snyder’s post. Huma Qureshi commented, “You are the best… Boss.” Choreographer Farah Khan also responded with, “Wow.”
“Army of the Dead” is based on a story created by Snyder. The film revolves around a group of soldiers planning a heist at a Las Vegas casino during a zombie apocalypse. Snyder conceived the idea for “Army of the Dead” as a sequel to his 2004 film “Dawn of the Dead.”
The film features several prominent actors, including Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighöfer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, and Garrett Dillahunt.
Huma Qureshi will soon appear in “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,” a gangster action-drama directed by Geetu Mohandas. The script is penned by Yash, who also stars in the lead role. The film includes notable actors such as Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasant, and Tara Sutaria.
Originally set for release on March 19, 2026, the film was postponed globally after consultation with its main distribution partner, Faras Films. It is now scheduled to premiere on June 4, 2026.
