Patna, May 7: Bihar is set to witness a significant cabinet expansion on Thursday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Nitin Nabin, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be in attendance. Several central ministers and key leaders of the NDA will also participate in the ceremony. Leaders from the ruling party have shared their reactions regarding the cabinet expansion.
JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar stated, “Tomorrow will be a beautiful moment when the cabinet expansion takes place at the historic Gandhi Maidan. This is where the Prime Minister praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s bold decision on liquor prohibition during the Mahagathbandhan government.”
Neeraj Kumar further added, “Such a large mandate is rarely seen. In national politics, Nitish Kumar is a leader who cannot be easily overlooked or dismissed. There is no strong anti-establishment wave against him, and he commands respect for his work. He does not cling to power without reason, and by resigning from his position, Nitish Kumar has set an example.”
RLMP MP Upendra Kushwaha remarked, “The Prime Minister is coming, and everyone knows he is here for the oath-taking ceremony. He is warmly welcomed on Bihar’s soil.”
JDU MP Devesh Chandra Thakur commented, “The cabinet expansion is a process that has been pending for a long time, and it is finally happening tomorrow, so we welcome it.”
JDU legislative leader and former minister Shravan Kumar welcomed the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, calling it a positive step for the state’s development.
BJP MP Deepak Prakash noted, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a deep connection with Patna and Bihar. Bihar holds a special place in his heart. His arrival is a matter of pride for all of us.”
BJP MP Radha Mohan Singh expressed, “We, the people of Bihar, are fortunate that Prime Minister Modi is coming to Patna.”
RLMP MLA Madhav Anand welcomed the participation of Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the upcoming cabinet oath-taking ceremony. He stated, “Tomorrow is going to be a historic day as the Bihar cabinet expands.” He also responded to Mamata Banerjee’s allegations of vote theft in 100 seats.
