Bhilwara : Hindustan Zinc, continues to strive towards shaping and strengthening the #SafetyFirst culture by organizing the 1st ever all women batch in First Aid Safety.The formation of All Women First Aid Team at company’s Rampura Agucha Mine marks a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to promoting gender equality and inclusivity in the workplace.The batch included 15 women employee trainees who underwent two weeks of training to acquire the expertise.
During the training, the trainees were trained in providing basic life support techniques along with practical training in Underground based Model Mine.During the program, the trainees demonstrated their competence by lifting a 70 kg dummy body in stretchers and transporting it to the Emergency Ambulance. The Rescue Team of Rampura Agucha Mine who are affiliated with the DGMS (Directorate General of Mines Safety) imparted the training to the batch. The Rescue team comprised of doctors and rescue trainers.
The First Aid Team will play a crucial role in providing prompt and effective medication to any employee in need. By equipping the team with the necessary skills and knowledge, Hindustan Zinc aims to create a safer work environment and reduce the risk of accidents or injuries.
