Hindu Panchang for July 12: Auspicious Times for Worship and New Beginnings

New Delhi, July 11: The Hindu Panchang holds significant importance in Hinduism. It is consulted before starting any auspicious work, travel, investment, or worship. The Panchang is based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other celestial bodies.

On July 12, 2026 (Sunday), the Krishna Paksha’s Trayodashi Tithi will last until 10:30 PM, after which the Chaturdashi Tithi will commence. According to religious beliefs, this day is considered highly favorable for initiating new ventures or purchasing vehicles and property.

Sunrise will occur at 5:53 AM, and sunset will be at 7:12 PM. The moon will rise at 3:05 PM and set at 5:26 PM.

According to the Panchang, on July 12, 2026, the sun will be positioned in the Punavasu Nakshatra, while the moon will remain in the Rohini Nakshatra until approximately 8:28 AM, after which it will transition to the Mrigashira Nakshatra.

On this day, the Harshan Yoga will not be effective, but the Vritti Yoga will be in effect until 8:05 PM, followed by the Vyatipaat Yoga. The Abhijit Muhurat, considered the most auspicious time of the day, will be from 12:05 PM to 12:59 PM. It is believed that during this period, one can commence important tasks, worship, or business without concern for Rahu Kaal or other inauspicious times.

Rahu Kaal will be from 5:39 PM to 7:23 PM, while the Gulika Kaal will last from 3:55 PM to 5:39 PM. The Yamgand Kaal will be from 12:26 PM to 2:10 PM. Traditional beliefs suggest avoiding the initiation of new work during these times, as they are considered inauspicious.

On July 12, the sun will transit into Gemini, while the moon will move into Taurus. There will be a directional shool in the west on this day. According to astrology and Vastu, it is advisable to avoid traveling in this direction. If travel is necessary, certain astrological remedies should be followed.
