Shimla, October 15 (Daily Kiran) : The Himachal Pradesh BJP convened a virtual meeting on October 15, 2026, under the leadership of state president Rajeev Bindal. Key figures in attendance included Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, state organization general secretary Siddharthan, along with all party MPs, MLAs, and state officials.
During the meeting, the party unanimously passed a significant political resolution titled “25 Years of Service, Good Governance, and Dedication – From Nation First to Developed India.” This resolution expresses the party’s gratitude and appreciation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, dedication to public service, commitment to good governance, efforts for the welfare of the poor, and vision for national development.
Bindal, addressing the media after the meeting, highlighted that Modi began his political journey on October 7, 2001, when he took office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. This marks 25 years of service as of October 7, 2026. He noted that after more than 12 years as Gujarat’s Chief Minister and over 12 years as India’s Prime Minister, Modi has consistently prioritized the nation’s interests over personal and political considerations.
Bindal emphasized that these 25 years represent more than just a tenure in public office; they signify a remarkable journey of transforming governance into a means of public service. He stated that Modi has effectively turned power into service, public positions into responsibilities, policies into tangible outcomes, and public participation into national strength.
Through the unanimously passed resolution, the Himachal BJP expressed gratitude for the achievements India has made under Modi’s leadership and acknowledged the special attention and developmental support given to Himachal Pradesh.
Bindal concluded by stating that Modi’s governance philosophy extends beyond merely announcing welfare schemes; it focuses on creating meaningful change in the lives of ordinary citizens, particularly the poor and marginalized.
