Dehradun, September 13 (Patrika English News): The spell of intermittent rainfall continues across Uttarakhand, with the Meteorological Department issuing an alert for heavy to very heavy rain in six districts on Saturday.

According to the forecast, Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Almora, Nainital, and Bageshwar are likely to witness intense rainfall at isolated places.

Meanwhile, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Champawat, and Pithoragarh districts may experience spells of heavy rain. In the remaining districts, thunderstorms, lightning, and moderate showers are expected at scattered locations.

Taking note of the warning, the State Disaster Management Authority has instructed district administrations to remain on alert and ensure preparedness for any emergency situation.
