Udaipur, August 14 (Kiran News): HDFC Bank has confirmed that there has been no change in the Average Monthly Balance (AMB) requirement for any of its savings account variants. The bank clarified that it offers multiple types of savings accounts tailored to different customer profiles, each with its own AMB based on the value-added services provided.

For the Regular Savings Account, the AMB remains at ₹10,000, while for the Savings Max Account, it continues to be ₹25,000. All variants are available across rural, semi-urban, urban, and metro branches, depending on customer profile.
The bank further stated that, considering customer usage trends in metro areas, it will prioritise offering the Savings Max Account to customers opening new accounts in metro branches.
