HCC shines on reporting over 6- fold jump in Q4 consolidated net profit

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) has reported 3- fold jump in net profit at Rs 66.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 21.64 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 18.43% at Rs 1,864.10 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 1,574.01 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported over 6- fold jump in its net profit at Rs 190.66 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 30.88 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 5.51% at Rs 3,107.58 crore for Q4FY23 as compared to Rs 2,945.16 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, the company has reported net profit at Rs 253.42 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 153.10 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.31% at Rs 5,283.23 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4,746.52 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.

For the year ended March 31, 2023, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss at Rs 26.59 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 571.74 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 8.44% at Rs 9,912.33 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 10,826.46 crore for year ended March 31, 2022.
