Hyderabad, March 12 : Havells India Limited, a leading Fast Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) company on Saturday launched its revolutionary range of energy saving ECOACTIV technology fans of 19 new models under the ceiling, pedestal, wall and ventilator fan category. The new range of technologically advanced fans equipped with ECOACTIV super-efficient BLDC and induction motor, designed especially working on lower energy usage helping consumer cut the power cost of about 50 per cent and offer cost saving up to INR 1900 per annum on electricity bills to the consumers, Havells India Limited President (Electrical Consumer Durables) Ravindra Singh Negi told reporters on the occasion. The total fans market size in the country was Rs 8,000 crore and in which, Havells market share was 20 per cent in all the fans segment. However, in the premium and decorative fans segment, the company’s market share was 45 per cent, he said. Negi said the company has 1500 plus servicing centres across the country. The new fan range is designed to offer low-noise operation and unbeaten air delivery within-built voltage stabilization, time setting up to 4 hours, memory back up along with RF technology remote for long range and multi-directional usage, the Havells India President said. The new range of fans including the industry-first BLDC table wall pedestal range, have been indigenously designed and developed by the R & D team of Havells and custom-crafted for today’s modern and sophisticated customers, he said the new range will be manufactured at the India’s first and largest fully integrated state-of-the-art manufacturing plant at Haridwar in Uttarakhand, where all categories of fans including ceiling, table, wall, exhaust and pedestal are manufactured under one roof. Negi said the current production capacity of the plant is more than 10 million fans annually and the plant is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including automated CNC machines for end covers , computerized conveyor assembly line and testing facilities.
